April Marks Tsunami Awareness Month In Hawaii

For decades, officials from the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center and International Tsunami Information Center, the Pacific Tsunami Museum, and other government officials have used April for a month-long campaign to educate the public on recognizing and mitigating hazards from tsunamis, a series of waves generated when a large volume of ocean water is displaced.

Fort Raleigh National Historic Site Seeking Public’s Help Solving Recent Crimes

Due to an increase in vandalism, theft and attempted theft of government property at Fort Raleigh National Historic Site, the National Park Service and park staff are seeking assistance from anyone who may have information leading to the identification of suspect(s) or to the safe return of items stolen during the most recent illegal activity.
