Snowstorm Rakes the Rockies

Published Date

Romoelkinsnow_copy     Ahhhh, there's nothing quite like a Rocky Mountain snowstorm. Just ask the folks in Colorado, who awoke today to more than a foot of fresh snow.
While the storm snarled traffic along the Front Range, it also brought a welcome blanket to Colorado's ski resorts. Not sure what Rocky Mountain National Park's elk thought of the white stuff.
While the forecast is calling for a warming trend into the weekend, hopefully the storm will prove to be a great omen for a snowy winter.
