Glacier Storm Damage

Published Date

Glachorsebridge1_copy     Glacier National Park was pretty battered yesterday by torrential rains, as the following pictures show. I've got to hand it to the park staff for offering one of the best web sites in the park system when it comes to keeping the public informed. These pictures were posted not too long after the storm struck. The sequence of the bridge collapse at Upper McDonald Creek is pretty impressive. To see more pictures, visit this site.
