Published Date

December 26, 2006

A good series of articles examining issues confronting national parks in Utah and southwestern Colorado can be found in the Grand Junction Sentinel.
The series, written by Bobby Magill, takes a look at energy development on the edge of Arches and Canyonlands national parks, budget crunches and antiquated mining laws confronting the parks, efforts to lure youth back into national parks, and infrastructure problems at Dinosaur National Monument.
