A couple of weeks ago I posted about my trip to Natural Bridges National Monument in southern Utah and how cool the monument's rock architecture was.
In wrapping up that post, I noted that the monument is so remote from civilization that there is practically no
light pollution. As a result, I pointed out that on clear nights you'll enjoy some of the
most incredible star shows visible anywhere in the country.
In fact, it gets so dark at Natural Bridges at night that the park has just been designated the world's first International Dark-Sky Park. Jeremy over at Park Remark has the details.
