Over the weekend the "Theodore Roosevelt scholar-in-residence at Dickinson State University" in North Dakota wrote an opinion piece about whether there should be hunting not only in Theodore Roosevelt National Park but in the national park system at all.
The conclusion that Clay Jenkinson reached? That while there is a deer problem in Teddy's park, opening it to hunters is not the right solution. I'm sure his words will find opposition among hunters, but debate is a good way to examine this issue.
