Speak Out!

A month or so ago I ran a survey to see what readers wanted to see on the Traveler. One request was that there be a way to take action on some of the issues that arise around the national park system.
You now have a way to do that.
On the left-hand column, just below my own email, is a brand-spanking-new fixture, "Speak Out!," that provides links to pages where you can comment on pending park plans, such as Yellowstone's draft Environmental Impact Statement on winter use, or fire off a message to folks in Congress who carry some weight when it comes to park issues.
Don't be bashful, folks. Let them know what you think.
