Published Date

May 26, 2007

Seventy-five years ago the folks at Glacier National Park here in the U.S. and Waterton Lakes National Park just to the north in Canada got together and formed the world's first International Peace Park.
Understandably, there's a little celebrating going on this year to mark that event. To get the details on what's up, check out this story from the Great Falls Tribune.

It's a shame that we don't have more international parks dedicated to world peace...especially after what's happening in Iraq and in the Middle East. Maybe this can all happen in 2008!
