Zion Proposes Another Fee Increase

Share

Published Date

May 4, 2007

It seems that back in December when the folks at Zion announced a handful of entrance-fee hikes they left one out: for motorcycles.
Today park officials announced a proposal to boost motorcycle entrance fees from the current $12 per rider to $20 per motorcycle.
Here's how park officials spin that bump: "With this change, motorcycles carrying two riders would be charged $20, a decrease from the current charge of $24."
Of course, they also add that, "For motorcycles with a single rider, the fee will also be $20, an increase from the current fee of $12."
This increase is proposed to take effect January 1, 2008.
