A search was under way Monday in Yellowstone National Park for a Maryland man whose 2009 Lexus was found abandoned at Craig Pass, park officials said.
Park officials said the car, a black Lexus IS-250 sedan, belonging to Stuart Isaac, 48, of Burtonsville, Maryland, was found back on September 26 during a routine patrol. The pass is located between West Thumb and Old Faithful along the Grand Loop.
Mr. Isaac was reportedly on a cross-country trip, a release from the park said. Repeated searches from the ground and from the air so far have failed to turn up any clues to Mr. Isaac’s whereabouts.
The man was described as 5-foot-8, 215 pounds, with black hair, brown eyes, and with tattoos on his shoulder blades and right triceps.
Anyone with information regarding the missing man was asked to call Yellowstone’s 24-hour Communications Center at 307-344-7381.

Totally off the subject but I am reminded of an incident from 2 years ago. In 2008, there was a missing Asian hiker in Glacier NP, has there ever been any new information on him?
