For Women Only: 5 Percent Discount On National Park Treks With Call of the Wild

Call of the Wild, a women's only trekking company, is offering a 5 percent discount off trips reserved during National Parks Week in mid-April.

Sorry guys, this offer isn't for you...unless you want to treat your wife, girlfriend, or sister to a "women only" guided trek through some of the West's national park landscapes.

Call of the Wild, which since 1978 has been leading women on hiking and backpacking trips around the world, has a nice slate of national park trips on its 2011 calendar and is offering a 5 percent discount to those who reserve one of the trips during National Parks Week, which this is year April 16-24.

The company is putting together hiking and backpacking trips this year in Yosemite, Sequoia, Kings Canyon, Bryce, Zion, and Joshua Tree national parks, just to name a few.

Included in Call of the Wild’s 2011 calendar is a backpack trip on the John Muir Trail in Yosemite.

“Call of the Wild is a proud supporter of our nation’s national parks,” says Kate Reid, the company's CEO. “Our guides are trained in Leave No Trace principles, which advocate low impact, sustainable use practices in the wilderness. Call of the Wild is a long-time partner with the non-profit Leave No Trace organization.”
