First Death Valley Natural History Conference Coming November 15-17

The inaugural Death Valley Natural History Conference is drawing more than 30 researchers, who will be making presentations on a range of natural science topics in Death Valley National Park.

The purpose of the conference, to be held November 15-17, "is to encourage original research within the spectrum of natural sciences and to disseminate this research to a general audience through the presentations themselves and the publication of the papers within the 1st Death Valley Natural History Conference Proceedings.

Tickets to attend cost $125. That price covers general attendance to all presentations, lunch on Friday and Saturday, closing reception dinner, and a printed copy of the conference proceedings when they become available.
