Tickets for the 5th Annual Point Reyes Birding & Nature Festival, which will be held in April, go on sale to the general public on Thursday.

Tickets can be purchased through this website. As in past years, many of the events are expected to sell out, particularly the Banquet Dinner featuring a keynote presentation and book-signing event by David Allen Sibley. Mr. Sibley’s much-anticipated new book, The Sibley Guide to Birds, Second Edition, will be released in March, so this is a great opportunity to buy the book and have it signed.

In addition, Mr. Sibley will lead the 1st Annual Rich Stallcup Memorial Nature Hike for Young Birders during the festival. The hike is in honor of the late Rich Stallcup, a local legendary birder who inspired hundreds with his sense of wonder and adventure toward nature. The hike, to be held April 27, is for young birders ages 11-17.
