A fund-raising campaign is under way to pay for restoration of the Kolb Studio building on the South Rim of Grand Canyon National Park.
After more than 100 years, it's understandable that the building that long has housed Kolb Studio on the South Rim of Grand Canyon National Park needs a little work. And the Grand Canyon Association could use your help in accomplishing that work.
Perched on the brink of the canyon rim, the building that arose in 1904 needs a little stabilization, some rebuilding and fresh paint, and just an overall restoration. To help pay for that work, the Grand Canyon Association is seeking donations from $25 to $1,000.
To draw attention to the project, the association created a savekolb.org website that looks to the past to promote the project. You really have to watch the slideshow to appreciate it.
