Bears Do The Darnedest Things, As This Video From Big Bend National Park Proves

Bears have been acrobats in circuses for generations, and watching this black bear sow and her cub at Big Bend National Park, it's obvious their talents come naturally.

These bears were captured on video scaling the vertical walls of Santa Elena Canyon in Big Bend by Stephanie Latimer, who was kayaking the Rio Grande River through the canyon.

Enjoy!

Great stuff!

More confirmation that if you're trying to get away from a black bear, climbing a tree (or apparently just about anything else!) is probably a waste of time :-)
