Yellowstone National Park is known around the world for its abundant and diverse wildlife (among other things), but just where is the “hub” of wildlife in the park?

The latest episode of Yellowstone InDepth takes a closer look at The Northern Range, the wintering grounds for the park’s largest elk herds and an array of carnivores like wolves, bears, and cougars. Despite only accounting for 10 percent of the park’s land, this area is home half of the park’s wolves, which were restored to the ecosystem in the 1990s.
