You have a chance next week to learn what events and activities are scheduled for the Blue Ridge Parkway this year/NPS

You can receive an update on what activities and projects are planned along the Blue Ridge Parkway this year by attending a briefing next Wednesday at the Folk Art Center at Milepost 382 along the parkway.

The parkway staff hosting the 2018 Blue Ridge Parkway Season Preview to showcase upcoming activities and projects. Parkway staff and partners will provide information at more than 20 stations offering a “behind the scenes” look into upcoming Parkway projects and operations. The event will run from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.

This event is designed to promote awareness and understanding among Parkway communities, neighbors and visitors of the National Park Service’s stewardship mission.
