Most everyone loves to fling a Frisbee around the yard. But when that Frisbee gets flung or washes up onto an out-of-reach beach at Glacier Bay National Park, and it becomes a toy for wolves, that's a problem, according to park staff.

"Sometimes wildlife sightings produce mixed emotions. Occasionally, in the vast wilderness of Glacier Bay, we are witness to animals being preyed upon such as a killer whale attacking a sea lion," the staff said in a message accompanying the video. "However, seeing a family of wolves play with a piece of plastic garbage that may have washed up on our shores brings out a range of emotions.

"While any wolf sighting is indeed rare and beautiful, seeing them play with trash in a place we think of as pristine is also somewhat heartbreaking. A reminder that even the most remote and untrammeled places are impacted by plastic pollution in our oceans. The Frisbee these wolves are seen playing with is by far not the only sighting or incident involving plastic on beaches and/or wildlife in our park this year."
