Friends of Acadia Fall Challenge Grant

Friends of Acadia has been offered an $18,000 grant...if they can match it. Should be easy, right?

The deal closes Monday. If FOA can land $18,000 in matching funds, the organization will have $36,000 in hand before kicking off their Annual Fund campaign in mid-October. 

All gifts raised during the current E-Challenge will support important Friends of Acadia programs, including the protection of natural resources, programs for young people, volunteer support, and the Island Explorer fare-free bus system. Consider a donation today to ensure that your gift is doubled so it will do even more to protect Acadia National Park.

  • Georgia: A full and fair description of the programs and financial statement summary of National Parks Traveler is available upon request at the office and phone number indicated above.
  • Maryland: Documents and information submitted under the Maryland Solicitations Act are also available, for the cost of postage and copies, from the Secretary of State, State House, Annapolis, MD 21401 (410-974-5534).
