Yosemite Renaissance is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the arts in Yosemite and the Sierra Nevada region. For over 150 years, artists have played an important role in the establishment of our state and national parks, inspiring people to visit iconic natural sites, and to protect our parks, wild lands and natural resources. Yosemite Renaissance is dedicated to this ideal.
The call to artists for Yosemite Renaissance 36 will begin on July 1, 2020. The competition is open to artists worldwide. Artists are encouraged to celebrate the beauty and wonder of nature and to explore environmental issues, ecology, history, current events, spiritual and cultural themes. We also encourage innovation, the use of new media, and new applications of traditional styles and techniques.
