A body recovered from a drainage near Paradise in Mount Rainier National Park is thought to be that of a hiker who went missing in late June.

Talal Sabbagh, 27, of Seattle, was reported missing after planning a hike from Paradise on June 21. Rangers located his vehicle in the parking lot at Paradise.

On Monday, rangers recovered a body thought to be that of Sabbagh. The Pierce County Medical Examiner's office will finalize identification.

Meanwhile, rangers continue to search for Vincent Djie, who went missing near Longmire in June. A 25-year-old Indonesian student living in Seattle, Djie was said to be hiking the Van Trump Trail toward Mildred Point. When he failed to return home the night of June 19, he was reported missing to the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office.
