Chimani, Inc. has reached agreement with the National Park Travelers Club to integrate the club's extensive database of national park Passport® to Your National Parks stamp locations throughout the 419 national parks into its mobile app.

Chimani's app, which has registered more than 4 million downloads, provides detailed park guides for over 64 national parks in the U.S., Canada, and the United Kingdom.

“We're excited to partner with NPTC and ensure that its members have access to the remarkable database in the palm of their hand,” said Kerry Gallivan, CEOd and founder of Chimani, Inc.

Started in 2004, the National Park Travelers Club (NPTC) is a non-profit 501(c)(7) social club organization of more than 2,600 national park enthusiasts who share information and their passion for America’s National Park System. Members use crowd-sourcing to maintain a master stamp database of current national park passport cancellations and locations on their website at www.parkstamps.org.

“We are pleased to be able to offer this new opportunity for members to have passport stamp locations on the go. This partnership will enhance their park experiences even more and Chimani offers an opportunity to discover new ways to track their visits," said Yvonne Manske, NPTC President.

The updated Chimani mobile app is available to download for free on Apple AppStore and Google Play.

Support National Parks Traveler

Your support for the National Parks Traveler comes at a time when news organizations are finding it hard, if not impossible, to stay in business. Traveler's work is vital. For nearly two decades we've provided essential coverage of national parks and protected areas. With the Trump administration’s determination to downsize the federal government, and Interior Secretary Doug Burgum’s approach to public lands focused on energy exploration, it’s clear the Traveler will have much to cover in the months and years ahead. We know of no other news organization that provides such broad coverage of national parks and protected areas on a daily basis. Your support is greatly appreciated.
