While there are a few times throughout the year when we specifically campaign for financial support, we need it all year long. That's why we want to take a minute to thank the following recent donors to National Parks Traveler.
- Wayne Parsons
- Martha Klein, who set up a monthly recurring donation.
- Joseph Hendricks, who donated in memory of the late Gary and Nancy Everhardt.
- George Steele
- John McTighe
- John Case
Support such as this has made it possible for Traveler to expand into Canada, and to increase our feature content with stories from places such as Capulin Volcano National Monument, Sunset Crater National Monument, Banff National Park, Grand Portage National Monument, and Casa Grande National Monument, among other locations.
In the works are stories from Big Thicket National Preserve, Mojave National Preserve, Sequoia National Park, Hubbell Trading Post National Monument, the Blue Ridge Parkway, Catoctin Mountain Park, and Ivvavik National Park.
And, of course, we'll continue to follow the issue of drilling for oil at Big Cypress National Preserve, who will be the next Interior Secretary, and then the next National Park Service director, what's to become of Caneel Bay at Virgin Islands National Park, and the ongoing issues that come up almost on a daily basis across the National Park System.
