The National Parks Traveler fills a critical gap in the conservation landscape. No other news organization is as focused on the national parks - America's most beloved natural and historic areas. Our daily coverage brings you breaking news coverage from across the National Park System, highlighting disasters, resilience, climate change, and so much more.

At the Traveler, we offer:

* Daily editorial content that you can access directly via our flagship website, nationalparkstraveler.org, or via our Apple News feed (be sure to bookmark it!)

* Weekly podcasts that explore a wide range of issues, from exploring the park system to politics that impact the parks and adventures out in the parks. From time to time we also offer "Audio Postcards from the Parks," which are short reports or profiles from the parks. Access these via the Traveler's homepage or via the usual podcast outlets (iTunes, Spotify, iHeartRadio, iPhone/iPad app, Facebook, YouTube, etc.)

* Special series that range from climate change impacts on the parks and invasive species to our annual package on Threatened and Endangered Parks.

* Features that explore such topics as rare orchids, park pioneers, ghost forests, and wild horses on wild seashores.

* Photography columns and gorgeous images from the parks.

* An Instagram channel you can follow both for the pretty pictures from the parks and to check our news coverage.

* Monthly webinars that take a newsmagazine approach, with programming running the gamut from exploring the park system to topics such as funding issues the National Park Service grapples with.

* Special publications, such as Changing Climate, Changing Parks, and The Essential RVing Guide to the National Parks.

Your support makes this robust and unmatched parks content possible. There is no corporate entity behind the Traveler, and we're not affiliated with the National Park Service. The Traveler is an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit news organization focused on daily coverage of national parks and protected areas. We need your support for our boots-on-the-ground efforts as we continue to tell the stories that highlight the parks, wildlife, and visitors, and the issues that surround them all. With a one-time or - even better - a monthly sustaining gift, you stand with us as we work towards a more resilient future for national parks. Will you join us

You also can support the Traveler through our Traveler Collection line of apparel.
