A body discovered in Arches National Park in Utah last weekend has been identified as a 33-year-old Virginia woman.
The body of Ekaterina Yaroslavna Ksenjek, of Arlington, Virginia, was recovered Saturday evening in the Devils Garden area of the park and turned over to the Utah Office of the Medical Examiner.
A park release late Wednesday identified the woman, but said the cause of her death had not yet been determined and that an investigation was continuing.
The Devils Garden area of the park is the home to the park's only campground, and is the location of a popular trailhead that leads to Landscape Arch, Double O Arch, Private Arch, and other curious geologic formations.
