Authorities on Sunday were trying to determine the identification of a woman whose body was found in Arches National Park in Utah.

A press release from the park Sunday evening said the body was recovered Saturday evening in the Devils Garden area of the park and turned over to the Utah Office of the Medical Examiner. No cause of death had been determined.

An investigation into the incident was being conducted by the Grand County (Utah) Sheriff’s Office.

The Devils Garden area of the park is the home to the park's only campground, and is the location of a popular trailhead that leads to Landscape Arch, Double O Arch, Private Arch, and other geologic formations.
