
Green Gables Heritage Place in P.E.I. celebrates L. Maud Montgomery and the Anne of Green Gables book series/Jennifer Bain
Parks Canada is opening Green Gables Heritage Place in Prince Edward Island during the Canada Winter Games.
Visitors can drop in between noon and 4 p.m. from Feb. 23 to Feb. 28. Off-season rates will apply. Private bookings can also be requested between Feb. 17 and March 6, subject to availability, by emailing [email protected]. Additional fees apply.
People will be able to access the visitor Center — featuring interpretive exhibits on L.M. Montgomery’s life and writings — as well as the Green Gables house.
The national historic site is in Cavendish and celebrates author L.M. Montgomery and her beloved Anne of Green Gables book series. Green Gables is typically open May to October, as well as by special appointment in April and November.
P.E.I. is hosting the 2023 Canada Winter Games from Feb. 18 to March 5, bringing together more than 3,600 participants to celebrate the best in Canadian sport.
