Discounted Early Bird Passes On Sale For Prince Edward Island National Park

Parks Canada is offering season entry passes for Prince Edward Island National Park at discounted rates prior to the beginning of the 2023 operating season.

Due to damages caused by post-tropical storm Fiona in September 2022, things will look different this year for visitors. “The park remains an incredibly beautiful and resilient place full of breathtaking views and — especially this year — signs of new growth and change,” the park said in a news release while asking for patience during repairs.

Visitors are also reminded that — now, more than ever — it’s crucial to stay off the dunes, including the “baby dunes” (the areas where dunes are starting to regenerate).

Season passes offer unlimited access to the park, including beaches, trails, visitor services and facilities. Discounted early bird passes will be sold from April 1 to June 15 for $52.25 (Canadian) for a family/group pass. Adult ($21) and senior ($18.25) early bird seasonal passes are also available, while admission is free for youth 17 and under.

Passes can be purchased at Ardgowan National Historic Site in Charlottetown or online at parksorders.ca. Entrance fees are invested directly back into Parks Canada’s activities and visitor facility improvements.

Stanhope and Cavendish Campgrounds will open for the season on June 13, and entrance gates and the Greenwich Interpretation Centre will open on June 6. Passes can also be purchased at these locations at the early bird rate until June 15.
