Special show of glass artwork to benefit Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area.

Blazing Star Arts Fused Glass will present a solo show and sale benefitting the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area from September 3 to October 29. The show, “Glass Reflections, Nature’s Inspiration,”  features handmade artwork and functional art glass inspired by the Western National Parks and Recreation Areas.

• Dates: September 3 - October 29, Wednesdays through Sundays, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
• Location: Santa Monica Mountains Interagency Visitor Center at King Gillette Ranch, 26876 Mulholland Highway, Calabasas, 91302

•           Sunday, September 10 - Meet the Artists Reception, 1 p.m. - 3 p.m.

•           Sunday, October 8 - Artists Meet & Greet, 1p.m. - 3 p.m.

Bonnie Quintanilla and Sue Wolhaupter created 100+ pieces of fused glass fine art exclusively for this exhibit and sale, including sculptural pieces, wall and table art, and practical artware like bowls and plates.
