A search has been ongoing in Glacier National Park in Montana for a 32-year-old climber who separated from his companions but failed to meet up with them later.

The man, Grant Marcuccio, from Whitefish, has been missing since Sunday evening. He broke off from his group while hiking from Heavens Peak to McPartland Peak. He was last seen heading toward McPartland.

Marcuccio was described as having short brown hair and brown eyes and standing 6 feet tall and weighing about 175 pounds. He may be wearing brown shorts, and a brown and white checkered shirt, a park release said.

Two Bear Air began flights over the Heavens Peak area on Monday. A helicopter from the U.S. Forest Service joined the search Wednesday.
