Starting January 1, 2025, Mojave National Preserve will raise fees for its developed campgrounds and move to a reservation system through Recreation.gov.
Visitors can book their campsites online at Recreation.gov or by calling 877-444-6777. Campsites will be available to reserve up to six months in advance, with same-day reservations also allowed.
Campgrounds
Location | Fee Effective January 1, 2025 |
Hole-in-the-Wall Campground | $25 per night |
Mid Hills Campground | $20 per night |
Black Canyon Group and Equestrian Campground | $50 per night |
After extensive public input and a review by the National Park Service, the park decided to adjust campground fees to be in line with those at nearby campgrounds. The additional funds from these fees will go toward park improvements that directly enhance visitors' experiences. Planned projects include fixing ADA accessibility issues at the Hole-in-the-Wall Information Center and Campground, replacing worn-out picnic tables at Hole-in-the-Wall Campground, and updating vault toilets at the campgrounds.
