Donation To Pay For Restoration Of Historic Locomotive

A generous financial donation to Steamtown National Historic Site in Pennsylvania is helping fund the restoration of the Atlantic Coast Line #1901, a steam-era diesel locomotive in the park's collection. Steamtown was one of six railroad museums identified to receive funds from the estate of Eric J. Yankovich, a longtime rail enthusiast.

Judge Chastises Fish And Wildlife Service For Ignoring Wolf Recovery Plan

A federal judge on Friday chastised the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service for failing to produce a nationwide gray wolf recovery plan, saying individual plans for the Eastern timber wolf, Northern Rocky Mountain wolf, and Mexican wolf don't meet the requirements under the Endangered Species Act to develop nationwide plan for the gray wolf.
