Legislation Calls For Range Of Light National Monument

Two congressmen from California are pushing to see 1.4 million acres that lie between Yosemite and Kings Canyon national parks moved from the U.S. Forest Service and U.S. Bureau of Land Management to the National Park Service and recognized as the Range of Light National Monument.

NPS Approves Plan To Replace Facilities Damaged By Kīlauea's 2018 Eruption

Plans to replace facilities damaged by Kīlauea volcano's months long eruption in 2018 have been approved by the National Park Service at Hawai'i Volcanoes National Park, where work could begin in March. However, the work doesn't currently include replacing the visitor center.
