Mosquitoes that carry viruses deadly to native birds at Haleakalā National Park. Reptiles that can grow to four or five feet in length and devour eggs of birds, alligators, crocodiles and turtles at Everglades National Park. Vegetation that can transform landscapes by not just overrunning native vegetation, but also by being more prone to wildfire.
