Too Many Horses Leading To Safety Issues At Bryce Canyon National Park

A surge of private horseback riders heading to Bryce Canyon National Park has led to problems on the park's trail system, prompting the park staff to reduce the number of available windows on the trails for private riders while the existing management plan for handling private and concession riders is reviewed.

More Than $900,000 In Funding To Spur Economic Activity Along Blue Ridge Parkway

The Blue Ridge Parkway Foundation has secured two grants totaling $911,117 from the U.S. Economic Development Administration to support economic development planning in the Blue Ridge Parkway corridor in Virginia and North Carolina. The grants are funded through the American Rescue Plan Act and U.S. EDA’s programs to advance economic recovery and resilience in travel, tourism, and other sectors.
