Hats On Hydrothermals – Removing Trash From Yellowstone’s Fragile Features

It’s easy for photographers to remove trash they see in their images with sophisticated photo editing, but not so easy for Yellowstone National Park personnel to physically remove that trash from fragile hydrothermal features. A team of dedicated cleanup staff is used for that task, and Traveler contributing photographer Rebecca Latson found out what entails these clean ups.

Groups Ask U.S. Fish And Wildlife Service To Take New Approach To Grizzly Bear Recovery

A coalition of groups asked the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service on Wednesday to revise the approach it takes to measuring grizzly bear recovery in the Northern Rockies, saying the current approach is outdated and has led to too many bear deaths.
