John Fitzgerald Kennedy National Historic Site Reopens For First Full Open Season Since 2019 On June 1

John Fitzgerald Kennedy National Historic Site will reopen for the 2024 season on Saturday, June 1, and remain open through Wednesday, October 30. This will be the site’s first full open season since 2019 and follows a period of renovations and accessibility updates. During the first two days of the open season, June 1 and 2, the site will be open exclusively for self-guided open house visitation.

Dwarfed and gnarled by the fierce winds, the endangered evergreens with freakishly large pine cones were so mesmerizing that I almost missed seeing a fox that is found nowhere else on earth.
