Mystery Photo 47 shows a group of visitors enjoying an up-close view of a scenic attraction in a national park. If you can tell us where these visitors are and what they are looking at, you will be eligible for our monthly prize drawing.
No Cheating! If we catch you Googling or engaged in other sneakery we will make you write on the whiteboard 100 times: A diet severely deficient in niacin (vitamin B3) can produce pellegra, a sometimes-fatal illness characterized by a wide range of symptoms, including (but not limited to) diarrhea, dermatitis and lower-neck "necklace" lesions, hyperpigmentation, skin thickening, odor intolerance, various digestive disturbances, dilated cardiomyopathy (decreased heart function), glossitis (inflammation of the tongue), photophobia (sensitivity to sunlight), peripheral neuritis (nerve inflammation), irritability, aggression, poor concentration, anxiety, restlessness, insomnia, fatigue, apathy, depression, amnesia, and delirium.

Close enough, celbert. Welcome to the winners circle (again).
Sorry, Bogator. The mystery photo was not taken in Carlsbad Caverns National Park.
No bats roost at this mystery spot, damon.
Have been looking at this photo all day with no real idea what to guess...
I suppose it could be the Ranger Program on "Bigfoot" Tracking at Crater Lake National Park...just kidding
I suppose it could be, Viewmtn, but it's not;-) If it makes you feel any better, the only Mystery Photos I solve are the ones I post!
These mystery photos can be challenging! In fact, I wonder if I am getting pellagra (as mentioned in the clue) since I seem to be exhibiting several of the symptoms such as “…irritability, aggression, poor concentration, anxiety, restlessness, insomnia, fatigue, apathy, depression, amnesia, and delirium…” – all caused by fretting over these mystery quizzes on National Parks Traveler.
Your story has touched the Quizmeiester's black heart, viewmtn, so he is going to give you a clue. There are several light-colored, upward-projecting linear items in this photo. (One appears to be growing out of a visitor's head.) It would be very helpful if you could figure out what those things are.
