Yosemite Conservancy inspires people to support projects and programs that preserve Yosemite and enrich the visitor experience.

Through the generosity of its donors, the Yosemite Conservancy has provided $119 million in grants to Yosemite National Park, funding the completion of more than 600 projects. Every grant helps achieve the Conservancy's ultimate goal: to preserve and protect Yosemite.

Yosemite Conservancy donors fund transformative work throughout the park. The grants donors support help protect diverse wildlife and plant species, and restore the precious habitats on which they depend. Donor support improves miles of trails to ensure visitors can safely access Yosemite’s wonders, and provides enriching interpretive experiences that help people form a deeper connection to the park.

Throughout the years, Yosemite Conservancy donors have enabled Yosemite’s wildlife experts to protect endangered species; funded cutting-edge scientific research on glaciers, rare plants and elusive animals; supported world-class crews, as they restore iconic trails and overlooks; helped rangers introduce youth to the outdoors while instilling a passion for stewardship; and much more.

Yosemite Conservancy’s 2018 grants continue a long legacy of collaborating with the National Park Service to preserve and protect Yosemite. With your support, we are working together to uphold the highest standards in trail and habitat restoration, cultural and historic preservation, wildlife protection, youth programs, and unsurpassed visitor experiences.

Your support helps preserve Yosemite’s natural resources, inspire new park stewards and ambassadors, and create enriching experiences.

Here are just a few ways your donation makes a difference in Yosemite:
