Do octopuses walk? Or do they swim? Perhaps they just scoot along. Whatever, Caroline Rogers, a marine ecologist with the U.S. Geological Survey, spotted this one while snorkeling at Maho Bay in Virgin Islands National Park.
"It displayed a very unusual pattern of distinct, light dots against a dark background. And the pattern around the eyes looked somewhat like a person wearing a (snorkeling) mask," says Rogers.
