Starting February 1, 2022, Hot Springs National Park will begin accepting online reservations for all 40 sites at the Gulpha Gorge Campground. Interested campers can begin making reservations on February 1, 2022, by going to www.recreation.gov, visiting the park’s camping page on the website, or by calling 1-877-444-6777.

The Gulpha Gorge Campground has been a first come, first served campground since 1924, but with the continued increase of RV camping in the past several years, the campground often fills up by 10 am, leaving many campers anxious and scrambling to find another camp site within the vicinity. Updating the campground to a reservation system will allow visitors to make reservations in advance and will provide peace of mind for travelers knowing they will have a campsite when they arrive.

All 40 sites have full hookups: 30- and 50-amp electric, water, and sewer connections. Sites are not pull-through. Each campsite has a picnic table, pedestal grill, and water. Maximum occupancy is limited to eight people/two vehicles (one RV and one tent OR two tents) per site. Camping in Gulpha Gorge Campground is limited to a total of 14 consecutive days and a cumulative total of 30 days in any calendar year. Each 14-day consecutive stay must be followed by a minimum of a 7-day break.

Beginning February 1, 2022, campsites will be $34.00 per night and for anyone with an Interagency Senior or Access Pass, sites will be half the price ($17, pass number will be required). The Gulpha Gorge Campground contact station will have a computer station with access to recreation.gov and the Campground Host on duty will be able to assist visitors in making reservations, if needed.

Information on each campsite, including maps and photos, will be available on recreation.gov, as well as on the park’s camping page: www.nps.gov/hosp/planyourvisit/campground.htm
