ARAMARK Parks and Destinations, which has been managing the Log Cabin Resort in Olympic National Park on a fill-in basis since last year, has been given a 10-year contract to run the property.
Along with managing the lodging there, the company will handle food and beverage, retail, and non-motorized boat rentals at the resort on Lake Crescent.
ARAMARK currently manages Sol Duc Hot Springs Resort, Lake Crescent Lodge, Fairholme Store, and Hurricane Ridge Gifts & Snack Bar within Olympic National Park, and Lake Quinault Lodge in Olympic National Forest.
The concessions company has been managing Log Cabin Resort under a temporary concession contract since 2012. During the temporary contract, the park has made numerous improvements to the facilities to improve the visitor experience, and will undertake an improvement program during the term of the 10-year contract.
