UPDATE | National Park System's Deferred Maintenance Bill Nearly $22 Billion

In the roughly three years since the National Park Service under the Trump administration decided it wasn't helpful to announce the dollar amount of deferred maintenance in the National Park System, that number has nearly doubled, to roughly $22 billion, in part due to a new calculation formula.

More Than $900,000 In Funding To Spur Economic Activity Along Blue Ridge Parkway

The Blue Ridge Parkway Foundation has secured two grants totaling $911,117 from the U.S. Economic Development Administration to support economic development planning in the Blue Ridge Parkway corridor in Virginia and North Carolina. The grants are funded through the American Rescue Plan Act and U.S. EDA’s programs to advance economic recovery and resilience in travel, tourism, and other sectors.
