A hiker was injured by a grizzly bear in the Many Glacier area at Glacier National Park on Friday. The the 50-year male hiker was hiking alone on the trail from Many Glacier to Piegan Pass when he encountered a sow grizzly with one sub-adult at about 12 noon on Friday.

Concerns over how "fracking" for natural gas might impact Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area and the Upper Delaware National Scenic and Recreational River have led to a lawsuit seeking a full environmental review of the operations.
