$1,000 Reward Offered In Connection With Crushed Loggerhead Sea Turtle at Cape Hatteras National Seashore

An off-road-vehicle group is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for running over and killing a loggerhead sea turtle attempting to nest at Cape Hatteras National Seashore.

Following our stay at Rock Creek Station, we zigzagged 125 miles to the northwest following as closely as possible the Oregon Trail that itself traced a stretch of the Little Blue River.
