A lightning-sparked fire thought to be of no concern has flared up in Sequoia National Park and covered more than 200 acres Saturday.

With the Park Fire's northeastern edge relatively static, the northern entrance to Lassen Volcanic National Park has reopened.

Construction has begun on a major project to replace the sinking seawalls around the Tidal Basin and along the Potomac River in West Potomac Park.
