Humpback Chub Reclassified As Threatened Under Endangered Species Act

Kings Canyon National Park Scheduled To Partially Reopen

Parts of Kings Canyon National Park in California were to reopen to the public Monday in the wake of success against the KNP wildfire. However, all developed areas of Sequoia National Park next door remain closed.

Roadwork Taking Place Across Mojave National Preserve

Much-needed roadwork is being tackled at Mojave National Preserve this month. The work will take place on Ivanpah, Lanfair, and Black Canyon roads. Visitors and inholding residents in the preserve may encounter trucks carrying rock aggregate material and road crews working in the area, which may cause short delays for motorists.
