190 Bushels Of Fruit Stolen And Trees Damaged At Whiskeytown NRA

National Park Law Enforcement is seeking help in solving the vandalism and theft which occurred when an individual or individuals stole over 190 bushels of unripe fruit from the apple and pear trees at the Tower House Historic District of Whiskeytown National Recreation Area, damaging the trees and irrigation system in the process.

It had taken three hours by ferry, van and boat to get to this Parks Canada place with the triple-barrelled name — Gwaii Haanas National Park Reserve, National Marine Conservation Area Reserve, and Haida Heritage Site.
