A dredging company is expected to go to work Monday to remove an abandoned scallop boat from a Cape Hatteras National Seashore beach.

The Elk Creek boat ramp at Curecanti National Recreation Area in Colorado will close for the season at 4:30 p.m. Sunday due to the low water level of Blue Mesa Reservoir.
