A historic collection of items spanning women’s suffrage and the movement for women’s equality has been donated by the National Women's Party to the Library of Congress and National Park Service. This gift comes as the country celebrates 100 years of women's constitutional right to vote and ensures public access to a trove of records about the history of the women’s rights movement in the United States.

A monument to the history of women's equality in the United States on Tuesday will become the latest addition to the National Park System, as President Obama will officially sign the necessary documents under the Antiquities Act to establish the Belmont-Paul Women’s Equality National Monument in Washington, D.C.
